Walmer Park Shopping Centre opened its doors to the Port Elizabeth community in September 1988, offering shoppers a pleasurable shopping experience with approximately 12 000 square metres of retail space.  

The centre boasts over 25 years of retail success and quality services, which are available through a vast range of national and international retail brands, restaurants and service related businesses, all conveniently located under one roof.  

Walmer Park has since undergone two refurbishments and six extensions, which now brings the centre’s GLA to over 43 000 square meters. The most recent expansion was completed in November 2013 and is anchored by the internationally branded Zara store.

The shopping centre constantly strives to maintain the rapid pace of the business and residential growth of the Western suburbs of the city and the surrounding areas, providing an upmarket shopping destination for the Port Elizabeth community and its visitors.

Walmer Park is proudly wheelchair-friendly and provides a wheelchair service for use by its visitors. Wheelchairs are obtainable for use from our security office, located at the waterfall entrance in the underground parking garage or visitors can call to book one on 041 368 6001.
